ARCHITECTURAL ARCHIVES

Located on a narrow site on the corner of Travis and Congress Streets in downtown Houston, HADA serves as an architectural archives building. The majority of the program is focused on the archive space, which includes material that is highly protected as well as material that does not demand sensitive conditions.  The exterior glazing allows the stacks to become signage for the building and expresses the interior multi-height space which links the residual program together.
