The outdoor amphitheater and shade structure was a collaboration between the University of Houston Design/Build team and the T.H. Rogers PTO.  T.H. Rogers is a unique school that successfully integrates three groups of students into one.  The student body consists of gifted and talented students, hearing impaired students, and multiply impaired students.  The structure was designed with all students and faculty in mind, creating a central space where all T.H. Rogers community members can socialize and learn.  We worked with experts in tensile fabric structures to design something that was structurally and aesthetically sound.  It was an invaluable learning experience in both design and construction.
